David, Archer, Dixie and I went to East Kentucky this weekend to do some work on "the farm". It was a beautiful weekend for it. It all went pretty smoothly. Naps were a challenge, but being outside all day was so much fun, it all worked out fine. We cleaned up and burned at David's Dad's old homeplace (the farm) and then David worked on some fire breaks at the Shepherd Place, just up the road.

First, we needed the tractor

Archer made a mud hole to play in

We had a picnic table that was just right for Archer. He looks like such a big boy sitting at it.

At the Shepherd Place we plunked rocks in the many puddles.
