So... we had a wonderful surprise last night. David came for the weekend!! No one knew that he was coming and he got here around 11pm. This morning, when Archer woke up and discovered David was here, he was so excited. He ran around the house showing David all the new stuff. He showed him the stuff he got for Easter, the new digger, the baby chick, he told him about the fish and the new tractor movie that he discovered on Netflix. It was very cute.
Today we went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. It is an old train station that has been converted into a restaurant/hotel/tourist attraction. It is pretty cool. I remember going there when I was about 7 or 8 and it was just how I remembered it. Archer liked it. We climbed around on the old steam train, checked out the model train museum and then rode on the trolley. We also splurged and got some ice cream. Archer was worn out with the total excitement of the day. At this point his nap has been over 2 1/2 hours and he is still sleeping. Drake is snoozing too. The boys had not been sleeping well, but with their daddy here they are happy sleepers.
