We had a good trip down to Mentone. It went pretty quickly.
We had a very busy first day today... we went for a walk. We took the stroller, but we also tried to get Archer to walk some on his own. There was way too much stuff to look at and the road is made of rocks so that is too much fun. We didn't get too far before we had to put him back in the stroller. When we were almost home we tried again and he did a little better, until he saw the bear at the top of Ma's driveway....
When we got back to the house we played in the giant sandbox for a little while before nap time.
After a nap, we went to have lunch with the guys down the road. Bob made yummy veggie soup and Archer ate a ton of it. He also loved Bob and Dan's huge dogs, Maggie and Igor. After lunch we went to "the land" to feed the fish and put David's trail camera up. Archer liked seeing the fishies.
After feeding the fish we took a hike back to the food plot to look around and set up the camera. Archer got to ride in the backpack, which he loves, and then when we got back in there he got to walk around. It is really hard to walk around in the woods when you are 16 months old. He got very tired.
After our hike we went to help Ma in the garden. Archer helped by eating beans.
