We had a little sippy cup accident with our computer and it died right before David left for his turkey hunt with his dad. I waited until he got back to go look at new ones and we just got a replacement last weekend. Unfortunately, I hadn't backed up all my pictures since August, so I lost all of them. Hopefully I will be able to gather some replacements from the blog and facebook and still have some photographic records of the last 8 months.
So.... David ended up killing another turkey at Ft. Knox before he left and then got 2 with his dad in Kentucky. The two of them went to Ohio when that season opened and he got 1 more, so we have 5 in the freezer. Yea!!

While David was gone, we did some fun stuff. We went to toddler time at the library and learned about clouds. Archer did really well, he listened to the stories and participated in the activities. I was very proud of him. At the end of the program, Ms. Liz (the leader) made popcorn (cloud shaped) and gave out cotton candy (cloud like, kind of). The boys were in heaven.

We also took a little road trip and went to Dinosaur World. It was awesome. The boys both loved it. Once I got them through the gift shop (what were they thinking putting the entrance through the gift shop), it was smooth sailing and we had a lot of fun. We ended up staying almost 3 hours, which is pretty remarkable. Archer can't wait to go back with Dada.

| We got there just in time to dig for fossils |

Archer really wanted to wear his dinosaur Halloween costume.
Everyone thought that he was adorable. |
 |
Drake was anxious to dig. They had a really cool area where you could
dig up a whole dinosaur skeleton. They could have hung out there all day. |

Drake would exclaim "Whoa!!!!" every time we saw a new dinosaur
on the dinosaur walk. |
 |
Drake walked the majority of the walk that had to have been at least
a half mile. He even out walked Archer. |

Our neighbors were raising pigeons this fall and winter. They had about 7 at one time, but they all got eaten or flew off, except one. His name is Buddy and he really seems to like us. When we are outside he hangs out on the back porch or on the roof and watches us. He also likes to come into the garage and hang out when we are in there. Occasionally, he even ventures into the house if we leave a door open. A couple of nights ago he roosted in the garage and I didn't realize it and closed the door. The next morning, when we were leaving for school, he flew in the house when I opened the door to the garage. The boys were beside themselves. Today, when we pulled into the garage after school, before we even got out of the car he flew into the garage and landed on the top of the car. We could hear him walking around on the roof.
