Dinosaurs

We went to the zoo this morning to see a dinosaur exhibit that they have this summer.  Archer is kind of obsessed with dinosaurs lately so I thought that he would love it.  On the way in he saw a picture of a green boa hanging on a branch and decided that he really wanted to see that too.  He also saw, in the zoo magazine that I get, that there are baby goats at the petting zoo so that was on our list too.  Amazingly we got to it all and got out of there around 12:30pm.  It was fun, but by the end it was getting hot and the boys were exhausted.

Archer loved the herpaquarium.  We even found some archer fish.

A huge constrictor that was shedding.  It was awesome!!

Excited to see some dinosaurs.... well, Archer was excited,
Drake was asleep.

The first dinosaur kind of snuck up on us (and David kind of
rushed up on it) and it scared Archer a little.  You can see that he is trying
to escape the stroller.  I got him out and held him and he was shaking.  They moved
and made noises and they were very lifelike.  I have to admit it was a tad unsettling.

He was a little afraid of the dinosaurs after that.  David was too.

We found some small dinosaurs and Archer started to warm
up to them.

By the end of the walk he was sitting on them.

digging for dinosaur bones

brushing a goat.  This is not the baby goat.  They were all hiding
inside in the AC.

David really wanted  to ride the merry-go-round.
